Program Details

This project is a learning program aimed at acquiring leadership skills and fostering intensive self-development in the city renowned for world-class education, Cambridge, United Kingdom. It focuses on developing one's potential to become a leader, experiencing the wider world, learning how to adapt to life in different cultures, understanding varied educational systems, enhancing personal image, igniting courage, facing challenges, exploring oneself, and gaining experiences at Cambridge University. Additionally, the project organizes various workshops that offer participants special opportunities, such as workshops on achieving success in business, emotional intelligence, and scholarship application skills at different levels. Participants also engage in learning lessons from recommended world-renowned books, up to 10 volumes. Furthermore, selected individuals have the opportunity to explore new experiences, visit natural landscapes, experience diverse architecture, broaden their horizons, and forge friendships to create networks. Importantly, the program encourages participants to broaden their worldview and develop a visionary perspective.

    International Kingdom is a private legal entity dedicated to forging collaborations with experts in language education, scholarship funding, business management, leadership training, and personal development. Our mission is to empower not just the youth and enthusiasts in Thailand but also individuals globally, spanning countries like Malaysia, China, Qatar, and Indonesia. Our initiatives span borders, encompassing local and international projects such as the Oxford International Exchange Program, Cambridge Leadership Exchange Program, Winter International Exchange Program at Manchester in the UK, and the English Summer Exchange Program in Penang, Malaysia. Our team boasts numerous professional instructors, including Instructors from the University of Oxford and Cambridge University. We go beyond geographical confines, bringing together instructors with diverse expertise to nurture the personal and professional development of individuals worldwide.
  2. Studio Cambridge

    Studio Cambridge is a school in Cambridge, England. Established in 1954, they bring together people from around the world to encourage intellectual curiosity and cultural awareness. They aim to provide a safe, welcoming environment for students to improve personal skills and gain insight into British life, culture and heritage, both inside and outside the classroom.

    They have a strong reputation amongst students and partners for personal care. In 2023, they won the UED Turkiye ‘Best Summer School’ 2022 award. That’s the best in the world, not just the UK! They also have been accredited by the British Council. In 2019 and 2023, the EL Gazette marked Studio Cambridge as a “Centre of Excellence”. Additionally, they have won awards from other countries such as Japan and the IALC association has marked Studio as one of the best independently run language schools around the world since 2013.

 

Qualifications for Applicants

  1. Age between 18-45 years.
  2. Understanding of the English language.
  3. Studying or living in Indonesia/Indonesian citizens
  4. Good physical health with a positive attitude towards self-improvement and a willingness to learn about diverse cultures.
  5. Demonstrates responsibility, adaptability, and a willingness to learn.
  6. No history of criminal offenses.
  7. Willingness to comply with entry requirements and abide by the laws and ethical norms.
  8. Individuals who have not previously received full scholarships from the UK government.

 

Number of Participants

Only 20 individuals for the Indonesian group will be selected for the Cambridge Leadership Exchange Program. (Those selected will receive an invitation letter for leave or time off to participate in the program)

 

Program Duration

  • Stage 1: May 2024 - Prepare documents and apply for a visa if required.
  • Stage 2: May - July 2024 - Attend a leadership preparation course online for 3 Month. Participants will study leadership and self-development courses. Teaching will be held online through the Google Meet every Saturday and Sunday from 7:30 - 9:30 p.m. (Optional).
  • Stage 3: August 3 – August 17 2024 - Participate in activities at the Studio Cambridge and Cambridge University in the United Kingdom.

 

Fees for Selected Participants

  1. Program participants must make a payment of 965 USD to secure their spot in the international leadership and personal development course. This payment covers confirmation and tuition fees.
  2. Additionally, participants are required to cover the expenses for tuition, activities, and other costs while in the United Kingdom, which amounts to 2,700 USD.

*Remark: Total payment of 3665 USD (965 USD+2700 USD) covers expenses for selected participants only and is strictly non-refundable. Please refer to the section below for exact all expenses covered.

 

Expenses for Selected Participants

Fees mentioned above include the following expenses:

  1. Round-trip airfare from Jakarta to London.
  2. Orientation for program participants.
  3. Tuition and workshops on leadership development and personal growth.
  4. Accommodation with host families in Cambridge.
  5. Unlimited bus pass for local travel in Cambridge throughout the program.
  6. Meals for breakfast and dinner.
  7. Activities and visits to Cambridge University.
  8. Site visits as specified in the itinerary, including a trip to London.
  9. Travel insurance.

The fees mentioned above do not include the following:

  1. Passport fee.
  2. Personal expenses during the program.
  3. Visa (If required)

 

⏳ For those who were not selected but desire to participate in the alternative leadership program at the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom, scheduled for October 3rd to 4th, 2024 , you can proceed as follows:

  1. Apply for the program through the website https://www.jbs.cam.ac.uk/executive-education/people/transformational-leadership/? by selecting the Transformational Leadership program.
  2. Pay the full tuition fee of 2,990 GBP
  3. Please note that the Transformational Leadership program lasts for 2 days only, and the aforementioned fee does not include accommodation, airfare, visa, and other expenses.

 

Activities

Key activities during the exchange program in the United Kingdom for selected participants:

  1. Participants will stay with carefully selected host families or hotels in safe neighborhoods.
  2. Every morning from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm, participants will join workshops on world-class books and learn about leadership skills and self-development at Studio Cambridge.
  3. In the afternoon from 1:30 pm onwards, participants will engage in cultural exploration activities at various locations in Cambridge and have the option to go sightseeing at their leisure.
  4. Participate in a classic punting activity in Cambridge.
  5. Visit renowned sites of global leaders and have the opportunity to attend lectures or talks at the University of Cambridge.
  6. Attend the certificate award ceremony at the end of the program.

  • Application Period: From April 1-30, 2024.
